Review : Nice tool cabinet. Poor quality control
I really wanted this to be a 5 star review but unfortunately the build quality issues expressed in other reviews continue to hold true. The issue with my Viper V2605SSR is the bottom drawer. The panel inside the cabinet that the drawer slide attaches to is bent. This in turn bent the rail as well. The drawer works but it does not pull out straight. When fully extended one side is out about two inches further than the other side. There is no way this could have happened during shipping or warehouse handling. The outside of the box and cabinet show no signs of damage. This happened during the build process. Who ever assembled this cabinet saw the problem and sent it on anyway. I would return this but I'm not willing to deal with the hassle. I'll just live with this cosmetic problem.
As for the cabinet itself. It seems to be a very well built unit. The wheels are heavy duty. The drawers feel like they will hold up well and lock securely. I hope to get many years of use from this...
