I purchased about ten of these units several years ago and they perform beyond my expectation. I have moved several times and although I'm sure they weren't meant to be taken apart and moved every 3-5 years, they have held up wonderfully.
They are utilized as fabric storage in my home sewing shop, with large bins filled to the brim so they must stand up to the weight which they have done admirably. One note of caution, care must be taken to orient the same ends of each end post 'up' and then to align the bracket clips so that the shelves are level. If one merely counts 'lines'on the posts and installs the brackets up that way, the shelves will not be level unless each of the end poles are oriented the same way. This probably doesn't make sense until you are putting these shelves together and you no longer have the instructions but someone might as well learn from my lesson of having done it the wrong way. The individual shelves rest on the brackets so a rubber mallet...
