My basement was a disaster with tools all over the place on every horizontal surface and inside multiple small boxes. I bought this to consolidate so I would be able to find my tools.
This box has been great. It looks good, it's very solid, and it's small enough that FedEx got it to me with almost no damage (a slight dent on the bottom). The drawers are very smooth and I have about 150 lbs of stuff loaded into this box.
Be warned this is very heavy and you should use two people to lift it--it weighs about 90 lbs empty.
The only slight negative is the locking mechanism that keeps the drawers closed when the top is down. This is a great feature but it's a little sticky if all the drawers aren't in well enough. Slightly better mechanics could make this smooth and pull the drawers in.
I was hesitant to spend this much money on a tool box, but it has greatly reduced clutter in the basement and I've bought more Gladiator pieces since.
